A complex move was on the cards when the “Beim Andreasbrunnen” and the “Michaelis-Krankenhaus” clinics merged to form the Frankfurt specialist clinic (Facharztklinik Hamburg – AMF) and moved into the former skin clinic of the University Hospital in Eppendorf (UKE).
We were commissioned with the project management and advised shareholders, management and lawyers involved on property-specific and construction issues in the run-up to and during the planning and construction work.

The main focus here was to guide the different contractual partners and investors of the underground car park, Hotel Martinistrasse and UKE, with whom the joint outpatient surgery centre is operated in the new premises, through many tough discussions and ultimately unite them in a common goal.

At the end of the construction work, we were additionally commissioned to organise the relocation of the hospital, which had to be prepared in such a way that it could take place within a week, including the entire operating theatre area, central sterilisation, administration, etc.

It worked: The last operation of the day was successfully performed in the old building and the first operation of the following day was successfully performed in the new building.
