Throughout our history, terms like "team" and "togetherness" are not just mentioned as promotional buzzwords on our euroterra website; they are lived within our nest. We embrace the team spirit, enrich each other, and interact with one another in a committed and trusting manner. However, we also acknowledge that blood is thicker than water. As fantastic as it is to collectively drive projects forward as a team, we ultimately recharge our energy and find inspiration within our families, with our children and partners. What could be more natural than doing everything we can to be with them when they need us or we need them? This can be achieved through flexible working hours, part-time employment, or freedom in scheduling working hours after parental leave. Home office arrangements in emergencies, recognizing that children are not obstacles to career advancement, and considering the interests of employees with families in vacation planning are some ways this can work.

The fact that we have likely not done everything but have done quite a bit right has now been confirmed by the "Hamburger Allianz für Familien" initiative of the Hamburg Senate, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hamburg, which awarded us the "Hamburger Familiensiegel" (Hamburg Family Seal). During a meeting at our nest, the conditions and our previous commitment to balancing family and work were discussed, receiving very positive feedback. As a result, we are now among the 400 companies that can proudly call themselves a "family-friendly Hamburg company."

We are very excited – and a bit proud – about this recognition as it confirms our stance, reassuring us that we are on the right path and motivating us to continue along this journey!
