SUCCESSFUL BID: WE HAVE WON THE VgV PROCEDURE FOR ALBERTINEN HOSPITAL

As part of a Europe-wide procurement procedure (VgV), our firm was awarded the contract for the extension and modernization of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Albertinen Hospital. With a compelling planning concept and our extensive experience in healthcare design, we were able to convince the selection committee of a functional, economically viable, and future-oriented solution.

The project will strengthen psychiatric care in Hamburg’s Eimsbüttel-Nord district and create the structural conditions for future-proof patient care. A new building and the reorganization of existing spaces will provide additional patient rooms, including accommodation for patients who are temporarily placed in a psychiatric hospital, particularly as part of what is known as forensic psychiatric care. The project will also create modern therapy and lounge areas as well as improved workplaces for medical and nursing staff. At the same time, the technical infrastructure, security concepts, and accessibility will be comprehensively enhanced.

The extension will create future-oriented treatment areas that meet the growing demands of modern psychiatric care while sustainably improving both the quality of stay for patients and the working conditions for clinical staff.

We look forward to realizing this challenging project together with all project partners involved.
