VgV PROCEDURE AND NEW CLIENT WON

The 15-year-old architectural layout and functional use of the Medical Device Reprocessing Unit (AEMP) – formerly Central Sterile Supply Department (ZSVA) - at Marienkrankenhaus gGmbH in Hamburg no longer align with current processing requirements, given the increasing quantities and anticipated future standards. Consequently, the hospital management has opted for a reorganization and expansion of the functional area, centrally located within Catholic Marienkrankenhaus. This decision aims to ensure high functionality, compliance with specified and anticipated conditions, and the establishment of newly structured, validated processes for medical-technical devices, instruments, and equipment to guarantee long-term sustainability.

Through a Negotiated Procedure with Prior Notice (VgV procedure), the project, funded by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, was announced, and the services of a general planner (object planning for buildings and outdoor facilities, specialist planning for structural engineering and technical building equipment, and medical technology) were publicly tendered.
Given our existing portfolio and experience, we expressed keen interest in taking on this project. We participated in the tender with reputable planning partners by our side and were able to persuade the stakeholders with our application, elaborated concept, and philosophy.

We extend our gratitude to the committees of Marienkrankenhaus gGmbH for their trust and eagerly anticipate future collaboration!
